swimming lessons

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing - Photo Books

Brayden had a fun time at his first swimming lessons. He LOVED the slide and was mad that he could not go on it a second time! Thanks Jeffrey, for taking the pics for me! He even got a couple of videos on my camera! I was impressed that he remebered how. I gave him a quick lesson before we got in the pool. Brayden was so excited the whole way home! He was talking and squealing the whole time. I thought he would be worn out afterwards, but he was wired!

Brayden's new favorite toy is Tigger. (Thanks Morgan and Brady!) He loves to make Tigger bounce and jumps along with him. In this video, he has on his swimsuit, because we are getting ready for his first swimming lesson tonight. I tried on last years swimsuit (6-12 months) it fits him really good this year. They looked like pants on him last year. I guess I did not need to buy him any new suits this year. I don't think his 12-18 months suits are going to fit to well. Oh well, maybe next year...Check back later for pics from his first swimming lessons...

Our Little Whitesox....

Brayden would not cooperate, while I tried to take his pic with his hat on. He laid out on the floor, so I just took the pics anyway. It's hard to get pics to turn out the way you plan at this age.

Fun in the Backyard....

The weather was so nice today. Brayden and I had a good time playing outside. It was even warm enough to pull out his swimming pool from the garage. He had a blast! He has got the hang of his power wheels now and enjoyed driving it around the backyard and in our screened in porch. The only problem' when he was driving on the porch was that he would run into the walls. I guess he still has not got the steering part down pat, but he keeps his finger on the button now instead of stop and go.

Help Me Decide...

I can't decide, which of Brayden's "school" pictures to order. Click on the link and leave me a comment on which pose you like the best. www.ashorterphoto.com. When you get to the website, click on portfolio and go to Pinelake Kids Place up at the top. You will then have to scroll to the very bottom and click on Teri and Sue. Thanks

We Have an Escape Artist....

I put Brayden down for a nap today, and he was playing in his bed for a little while. I thought that he had finally gone to sleep until all of a sudden he started SCREAMING. I went in to check on him, and he was sitting on the floor outside of his bed, looking up at me. That little climber stood on his little aquarium in his bed and must have taken a leap to the floor. We moved the aquarium a while back, because he was alway hitting it in the middle of the night, and we would wake up, when we would hear it on the monitor. Needless to say, the aquarium has a new home on top of his chest of drawers. Maybe he can still watch it a little in it's new location, because it really does help get him to sleep. It is part of our little nightly routine. I turn that on and play cd that has 3 songs on it. He usually goes right to sleep. Hopefully, this will not interfere with him going to sleep as fast as usual.

We celebrated Jeffrey's mom's birthday last night. Her birthday is actually on Sunday. I cooked lasagna last night, and we had birthday cake from Dream Cakes. Here is a link to their site http://www.dreamcakesms.com/ . They make the prettiest cakes, and they are so yummy. Check them out! Hope you have a Happy Birthday, Mrs. Johnson!

The Dishwasher: PART TWO.....

Ok, those of you who keep up with my blog probably remember me posting a pic of Brayden on top of the dishwasher back in December. It was funny then, because he was not even walking at the time. He crawled in the kitchen and when I walked in there I saw that he had pulled up and climbed on top of the dishwasher. I was shocked and grabbed my camera real quick, thinking it was pretty funny. It is not so funny anymore. He has started climbing all over our dishwasher, while I'm trying to load or unload it. He imediately grabs knives or tries to throw toys in there. Well, today I was quickly unloading the dishwasher and had my head turned for two second, putting silverware in the drawer and just LOOK what he did! My everyday chores are becoming quite a challenge between dishes and laundry especially. While doing the laundry, he loves to put dog food in Chloe's water bowl or he will find a dryer sheet on the floor and dip in the bowl and splash water all over the wall. Oh my! I still have the terrible twos to look forward to :)
