You may have already seen the videos below, but if not I would encourage you to watch them. If you have not heard, Rick Bugess of the Rick and Bubba show, recently lost his son after an accidental drowning. His son was only 2 years old. His name was Bronner Bugess(you can google it and find out more info.). Anyway Rick really had a powerful message to share, so if you have not seen the videos it is worth your time...(YOU WILL NEED TO TURN THE MUSIC PLAYER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BLOG ON PAUSE OR STOP)

Digital Scrapping...

I have finally figured out how to work photoshop (for the most part...I'm still no pro). I had fun playing around w/a digital kit last night, and I went ahead and made a few scrapbook pages from Christmas. I think that I will continue to make pages and get a bound book of them made by shutterfly or picaboo. Anyway....you can see us all in our matching pjs...haha...

Dinner Disaster.....

Brayden once was such a good eater. He would eat pretty much anything you put in front of him. What happened??? He is so hard to feed right now. I'm hoping it is some stage he is going through. Tonight his meal started off with some chicken biscuit crackers, which he thought he would share with Chloe (our dog), while I heated him up some vegetable soup. Well, next I try to feed him some soup. Um yeah, Mom, I don't think so! He chewed it up and spit it right back out. He loves to do that these days! He will not keep a bib on, and so I have a fun time with laundry. I sometimes just feed him without a shirt on. Well, after no luck w/ the crackers or soup, I decided that I would give him some of a lunchables jr. It had mozarella cheese and graham crakers and some kind of strawberry yogurt dip. He spit all that out too. Last resort I opened up a can of green beans, which he has always loved. He had more fun playing with them than eating them as you can see from the video. I just don't know what to feed him these days, and he needs more iron. The vitamins he has to take smell horrible. I'm sure he will start spitting them out. He had his first dose yesterday and made a horrible face, and I can understand why.

Sweet Baby Boy....

I actually got to enjoy a little snuggle time w/ my little guy over the holidays. I really miss those days, so I enjoyed it. I think he was really pooped from all the holiday activities, and he just let me hold him and fell asleep. It is very rare for him to do that, because he is constantly on the go these days. He loves getting into the cabinets and trying to pull rocks out of the fireplace and eat them. He is walking all over the place now. He can get around all over the house now. He had his 1 yr checkup today and he remains in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for head circumfrence. His height dropped from the 95th percentile back to the 75th. Everything went well. He just needs a little more iron, so I've got to get him some liquid vitamins to take.

Boxes and Peanuts...No need for toys here....
