Buzz Lightyear.....

I took Brayden to the Play Place yesterday, and he dressed up like Buzz. He kept pushing the pretend buttons on his wrist and felt like a big shot in his costume. He didn't like it, when I took it off for us to leave.

It's a Boy!

Well, Brayden is going to have a little brother. I know that he will LOVE having a brother! I guess we might just have to try again for a girl =0) We will have to see how this one goes.

Snow Day......

One Man's Trash Another Man's Treasure......

Brayden loves to collect funny little treasures around the house. He also has a thing about DVD cases and pulling out their covers and carrying them around for days. Well, a few days ago Brayden was getting into something he should not. Imagine that! I ended up giving him the empty sprite case box to play with. Well, he has made it his treasure chest. He has a dvd insert, a rubber ball, and the topper from some easter candy in it. He wanted to carry it with him, when we were heading out the door this morning for mmo. I let him and BIG MISTAKE! We got to Pinelake, and he wanted to take it inside with him. I put it in the car and he started bucking in my arms throwing his head all over the place. I tried setting him down to walk, and he laid flat on the wet concrete. Picked him up again and made it to breezeway without dropping him from all the squirming. Placed him down to walk again, and he layed out on the concrete AGAIN! We made it inside and had another little episode. I was breathing heavy and worn out from struggling with him by the time I finally got him dropped of at his classroom. When I picked him up later and put him in the car, he wiggled out of the carseat before I could get him buckled in and immediately grabbed the box. He has not stopped playing with it since we got home. Strange child! Cheap entertainment!

Long Weekend in New York.....

Jeffrey and I spent Thurs.-Sun. in New York and went and saw a few broadway plays and did some shopping. We saw The Little Mermaid, Mama Mia, and The Rockette's Christmas Spectacular. We had a great time! I really loved Mama Mia! It is one of my favorites, along with Wicked. The Rockettes are always fun to see also. This was our third year to see them. We even got to see a bunch of snow after we got out of Radio City Music Hall. It was a fun, relaxing weekend! I really missed my little guy though, and I think he kind of missed us too. My mom said he carried around our christmas card picture, and on Sat. night he started saying "NahNah" (this is what he calls me, he can say mama, but he called me NahNah first and it has kind of stuck, haha) and kissing the pic of me. How sweet! I know he had a great time with his Grammy and Pop though. I'll have to post some pics of Brayden holding a duck my dad killed =0)

Thanksgiving with Biggers Family....

Here are some pics my mom took over the Thanksgiving holidays. I was bad and didn't even take pics this year. I've been slacking on my picture taking. Anyway, so I did not get any from the Johnson Thanksgiving. Jeffrey's cousin Jessica and her husband Andrew are pictured above though. They have been staying with us, while they are in town visiting.

Fun With Bop....

Jeffrey went on a guys golf trip this past weekend, so Brayden and I spent the weekend in Greenwood with my parents. Brayden had a good time with his Bop this weekend. "Bop" was the name Brayden called my dad all weekend instead of Pop. Bop took him on a walk around the block down to the park and Brayden had a good time playing outside with Bop.

Storytime Dress Up.......

Our neighbors invited us to come carve pumpkins with several other neighbors this afternoon. I thought Brayden would have a fun time watching and playing with some of the other kids. He loves looking at our neighbors scarecrows and always points to them wanting to go over there. Well, today he decided that he wanted to run over to our yard and play in our yard and run all down the neighborhood. He wore me out. He did enjoy the orange Hawaiian Punch they had and drinking out of a big cup. He was walking around with an orange mustache and couldn't get enough of the Hawaiian Punch. Needless to say, I didn't get to carve a pumpkin. I did end up getting a chance to carve my pumpkin tonight though. I always pick out the most difficult templates, but I was pleased with the turnout this year. It's not perfect, but I'm proud of it and thought I would show off my hard work =0) Oh, and I couldn't get a picture to turn out good, so I took a short video.
