A long night....

Brayden had a tough time last night. He woke up at 2:30a.m. I went and got him, and we headed to the couch in our keeping room. He laid on me with his head on my shoulder, and then I thought that he was getting too hot. He was already hot because of the fever. (I gave him another dose of motrin before getting on the couch.) I tried to move him to the inside of the couch. We have an oversized couch and I moved all the pillows to the floor and put the ottoman right up to the couch, just in case he were to fall. He then started moving all over the place soon after. He just could not be still. He then sat up at the back of the couch and started patting his legs, clapping, saying "mama", "dada" "byebye". It was too funny. It was like he was practicing words he knows. Anyway after about an hour and a half, I tried putting him back to bed with one of his toys. He played with it a few minutes and finally went to sleep. He seems to be a lot better this morning. He does not feel as hot....I have not taken his temp. yet, but I will do so shortly. He still is acting like his teeth are bothering him, but I definitely think he is doing better....Hopefully, he will continue to improve.

Making Daddy Proud....

I went to Gymboree the other day to look for a white polo shirt to go under this Easter longall that my friend Ashley made.
(She makes adorable children's clothes....check them out at www.swankydesigns.net.) While I was there, I decided to check the sales rack. I just couldn't resist the shirt Brayden is wearing in this pic.(I tried to take him for a haircut Sat., but there was an hour wait!) I knew Jeffrey would love it and it was on sale after all :). (Jeffrey played shortstop at Ole Miss)

My poor little guy is sick again. I got a call from MMO today that he was running a fever and not his usual smiley self. I took him in and he was negative for the flu, but we don't know if it is viral or what. It was too early to tell, so I've got to take him back in tommorrow, if he is still running a fever and feeling bad. He has never been so pitiful. He usually smiles at the doctor even when he is feeling bad. Today he just laid out in my lap and didn't move. Hopefully, he will be better in the morning. I hate to see him feeling bad.

Getting Back into a Routine...

We have moved into our new house and are getting settled. I will be so glad, when we don't have workers coming in and out everyday. It has been pretty crazy. We have had trouble with some hookups, like getting a 3 prong dryer cord changed to a 4 prong and getting new cable outlets installed. We have had multiple workers come in and ended up having to get specialist for several things, but we are getting there. Brayden was sick for a week, and I had to take him to the doctor several times in the middle of trying to pack and move boxes to the new house at night. My mom has been such a big help! I don't know what I would have done without her. I needed to be in too many places at once last Fri., and she really helped and has done so much boxing up and moving stuff. My uncle was also a big help. He came over during his lunch break to wait on some people at the new house, while I ran to the old house to meet movers. Anyway, I'm glad to start getting back into a routine, and I was glad to be able to take Brayden to storytime today. We have not been in weeks. It was quite crowded as you can see. He loves to get up on the stage and wonder around. He will look to see, if I am watching and will smile real big. He is the little guy in the red zip-up sweatshirt.
